Heroic freedom fighter late Hossain Ali

Death: 01/12/2012

After gaining independence, Md. Hossain Ali, a soldier of Bangabandhu, a former student leader of Rajshahi University and a freedom fighter of Kahalu police station, established Kahalu College in 1973 under the name of this upazila. He retired in 2006. His tomb is located on the premises of Kahalu College Mosque (in front of the gate).
